Frequently Asked Questions

Sizing varies among our slippers styles, but all of our slippers are medium width and most are full sizes only. The Wuzza slippers collection  starts out a little snug and then stretches naturally, while the felt material is super accommodating, but will fit similarly over time as it retains shape.

We’ve found most full-size customers stick with their full size in both materials. If you’re a half size, we’ve found most customers size up in every silhouette. If you have a wider foot and you’re a half size, we’d suggest sizing up to the next full size in everything!

Great question! If your slippers are a bit snug to start, you can expect them to stretch about a quarter inch after a few weeks of wear. In contrast, your Wuzza slippers will likely retain their original shape. Either way, we recommend wearing them for 1-2 weeks to break in. Pro tip: trying them with socks can also help the slippers break in more easily!

Please feel free to give them a try in the wild during your 30-day no-questions-asked trial period!

The email you received with your tracking information is the best source for updates and the timing of your order. We promise it’ll be worth the wait!

Our slippers are machine washable as needed! We recommend cold water and mild detergent on gentle cycle and air dry only. Do not use bleach. Since they are made out of recycled plastic water bottles they will shrink if exposed to heat of any sort.

Hang tight, it can take our warehouse up to two weeks to receive and process your return. We’ll be sure to send a refund notification email as soon as we’ve issued your refund!

Wuzza takes a whole-brand approach to sustainability, and defines circularity just the same: filling every gap in the journey of a product’s lifecycle, from how it’s sourced, to how it’s designed and manufactured, and then broken down and remade. Rather than focusing on one sustainable aspect, such as materials sourcing, circularity closes the gaps from start to finish.

“Circular production” is tough to define because it doesn’t yet exist. At Wuzza, our standard is to use majority recycled or bio-based materials and offer an end-of-wear solution for every product we put into the world.

We offer a 30-day trial period. You can return or exchange your shoes for free with no questions asked, even if you’ve worn them out in the wild.
Please note that socks, undies & apparel must be unworn and undamaged in their original packaging within their return timeframe and all sock bundles and other accessories are final sale. Lastly, refunds must be requested in the same country as the original purchase.
All of our styles were developed to be worn without socks. However, it is absolutely doable (and super cute) to wear socks if you’d like!

Wuzza shoes are knit to shape from repurposed plastic bottles. The single-use bottles are hot washed, sterilized, and then chipped into little flakes. Those tiny flakes are then pressed into small pellets. The pellets are made into spools of thread, dyed and then 3D knit into every pair of Wuzza—resulting in 30% less material waste than traditional cut-and-sew methods. Once we knit the uppers, each pair of shoes is finished by hand for maximum comfort.
